Celebrate the holiday season by participating in a Virtual Wine Tasting with Jack Keegan. Join the Miami University Alumni Association on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET for a tasting of festive wines from France with an Austrian thrown into the mix! We will explore sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines, all imported by alumna Fran Kysela '80. Jack will discuss wine making, different origins, and taste the selected wines.

Below is the list of the wines that Jack will discuss:

Sparkling:

  • NV Wolfberger Cremant d'Alsace
  • Brut NV Rubus Sparkling Brut (South of France)

White:

  • 2019 Hugl Gruner Veltliner

Rosé:

  • 2019 Alain de la Treille Le Rosé (Loire Valley Negociant)

Reds:

  • 2016 Jaume Clos de Sixte Lirac
  • 2018 Segries Cotes du Rhone

Jack will cover all six wines, but you are not required to purchase them all. If you don't have them or can't find these specific brands, pull out a personal favorite and he will talk about them with you!

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. You must be 21+ to participate.
